Critical reflection, based on the historical and dialectical materialist framework, about the political
action of social movements as political subjects to which public policies are devoted, in particular, the
Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST). We analyse the process of struggles and conquests of the
working class for rural education in face of contemporary Brazilian state, in the current political
situation of regression of social rights.
