Abstract

The editorial of issue no. 175 of Princípios advocates the construction of a new national development project in response to the neoliberal crisis and the political disputes surrounding Brazil’s 2026 elections. Presenting the dossier “Structural Reforms and Paths toward the Brazilian Revolution,” it highlights proposals concerning national sovereignty, neo-industrialization, financial reform, the valorization of labor, inequality reduction, and ecological transition. Engaging with Marxism and other critical traditions, the issue seeks to update the meaning of the Brazilian revolution and identify pathways toward democratic, sustainable development oriented toward a socialist transition.
