Strengthening international governance and cooperation to promote the benign development of artificial intelligence

Abstract

The development of an artificial intelligence governance system still lags be- hind the revolutionary advancement of the technology, making issues related to international AI governance increasingly prominent. This essay seeks to un- derstand global trends in the development of the technology, to scientifically assess the risks and challenges of this process, and to outline measures that can help strengthen international governance and cooperation, in order to pro- mote AI development for the benefit of civilization and the common good of all humankind.
