This article aims to analyze the possible contributions of the Chinese socio-environmental governance policy — defined by the five-year plans — to the elaboration of public policies of protection and state planning in Brazil, focusing on the opportunities brought by the conquest of the 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 30) in the Amazon and by the growing relevance of Brazil-China trade relationship, exploring the apparent contradiction between economic development and environmental protection. The research method used was qualitative-quantitative, approaching both the available analytical bibliography and the plans themselves, as well as statistical data. As a result, it shows that the relationship between socio-environmental governance in China and Brazil has a substantial impact on the search for a sustainable and shared future, in a scenario conducive to mutual collaboration and the exchange of effective development strategies. Through joint efforts, these nations can not only strengthen their own environmental and economic resilience, but also inspire other countries to take concrete steps to address global climate challenges more effectively.
