The present text discusses the protests of 2013 in Brazil from a transpassed notion of time. I suggest that past, present and future be taken into account for the analysis of protests, which are, respectively, marked by specters, protests and conjunctions. Indeed, the protests carry unresolved Brazilian specters, at the same time that their failure presented in the conjunctions of the future determine political and ideological judgments about the terms of that 2013 present. Finally, I argue that the 2013 protests were an attempt to put an end to the repetition of Brazilian capitalism. As we know, failed attempt. Repetition of the end and the end of repetition seem to be essential analytical signs of how we can think about the fate of national protests.
