Abstract

Labor is a central category, by means of which the metabolic relation between man and nature is given, founding the social being. This primary condition is decomposed by the exploration of labor force under the command of the capital and its antissocial metabolism, which perpetuates the refinement of production standards and the instruments of accumulation by means of the productive restructuring of capital. Such process converges with the technological revolutions. It is embodied in the pandemic of covid-19. This text concerns to the essayistic effort of situating the labor of app delivery drivers which work for digital platform businesses under the scrutiny of the antissocial metabolism of the “pandemic capital”. We make some points: the pandemic is emblematic, it removes the mask of the devastating condition to which the working class has been compelled towards. The works of such services are bound to almost limitless exploration mechanisms within the informational-digital capitalism, setting up threatening precedents and, on the other hand, instigating fight and rebellion.
